    Job Description:

    The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for retaining and growing National’s freight forwarding and air charter customer business.  He/she uses available resources to learn customers’ businesses, identify business needs, and proactively contact customers to position National’s products and services to meet their needs. This position is responsible for prioritizing customer opportunities and focusing attention on accounts with the greatest opportunity and likelihood of success. The Global ISR moves leads through the initial sales process; qualifies and calls on leads, schedules meetings for field sales, updates CRM, oversees the pre-qualification process, supports the lead pipeline and actively engages with BD and Field Sales professionals.  Appointments will be booked with qualified decision makers that you identify and "pre-qualify" for an in person meeting.     Job Description:

    The Key Account Executive is responsible for achieving his/her assigned sales plan by generating profitable National Air Cargo revenue growth through the development of new business and the retention of existing clients within his/her Military Branch  This position analyzes customers’ current supply chain needs to create appropriate solutions and promptly respond to customers’ requests.
     
    The primary focus of this position is to conduct face-to-face customer sales calls.  The Key Account Executive travels to customer sites to hold meetings and gather information.  This individual analyzes customer needs and proposes transportation solutions.  The Key Account Executive builds relationships with key stakeholders, and generates revenue opportunities across all product and service lines.   Pre-sale duties include preparing action plans, customized presentations, performing pre-call research and analysis.  Post-sale duties include ensuring smooth implementation and account setup.  The Key Account Executive also responds to internal and external customer concerns or problems, determines corrective actions, and/or assigns response personnel.

    Essential Functions:

    ·        Maintain and grow a book of business (e.g. Air, International Freight)
    ·        Introduce new products and services and expand business opportunities within customer accounts
    ·        Track sales performance to objectives:

    • Revenue Measurement:  Overall growth (maintenance and new business); credit only for outbound shipments (air, ocean, and linehaul) from within territory
    • Focus on Shipper or Consignee Selling inside Military Branch
    • Goal: Minimum 6 total calls per week
    • Call = Facility Visit; not individuals
    •  Tradeshows  (Tradeshow slides completed / Leads resulting from show)
    • Goal: Minimum 25 quotes per week; 100 quotes per month
    • Goal: Quote to Shipment conversion percentage; minimum 30% monthly
    • Requirement:  24 total calls per month
    • All CRM calendars/activities updated daily (NLT close of business end of work week)
    • Calls categorized by maintenance or new business; (50/50 split)
