"National Airlines passengers took to the skies today when the airline celebrated its inaugural passenger flight from Orlando Sanford International Airport to San Juan, Puerto Rico’s Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport.

The flight marked the launch of National Airlines’ convenient nonstop service to destinations in North America and the Caribbean. In addition to San Juan, the airline will begin nonstop flights to Windsor, Ontario, December 17. Flights to St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, will be added next year. 

“Orlando is the most visited place in the U.S. and it’s exciting for us to enable passengers in underserved markets, such as San Juan, with a more convenient means to visit its world-famous theme parks, beaches and cruise ports,” said National Airlines President and Chief Operating Officer Edward Davidson.
