National Teams Up With Olympic Champion Evan Lysacek

Lysacek, winner of the gold medal at the 2010 winter games in Vancouver, will attempt to become the first man to win back-to-back Olympic figure skating titles in more than half a century. America’s Dick Button was the last man to accomplish the feat, winning in 1948 and 1952.

About Evan Lysacek:
In addition to his Olympic title, Lysacek is also a World champion (2009) and two-time U.S. champion (2007, 2008). Since winning the seventh men’s Olympic title in U.S. history, Lysacek has garnered several honors, including being named the 2010 USOC Sportsman of the Year and receiving the 2010 Sullivan Award as the top amateur athlete in the U.S. In April 2012, Lysacek was appointed a sports envoy by the U.S. Department of State, a position in which he engages overseas youth in positive dialogue on the importance of education, positive health practices, and respect for diversity.
