Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) Awards Contract To National Air Cargo, Inc.
HERNDON, VA (May 14, 2012) – The Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM), awarded a $14.3 million dollar contract on May 11th, 2012, to National Air Cargo, Inc. to provide freight forwarding services for approximately 11,300,000 pounds of merchandise over the next year. NEXCOM’s mission is to provide military customers with affordable, quality merchandise and services to support quality of life programs for active duty military, retirees, reservists and their families.
Under this contract, National will provide air freight forwarding for NEXCOM merchandise globally and ensure it is delivered within 7-10 days. It will be shipped to NEXCOM’s global stores that include locations in the US, Europe, Guam, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. National is proud of our ability to meet NEXCOM’s freight forwarding needs while providing quality service and support to the US military.
